Welcome to AAUW-Wisconsin

Making A Difference in the Lives of Women and Girls

AAUW The American Association of University Women promotes equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research. AAUW is open to all graduates who hold an associate's or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through barriers so all women have a fair chance.

AAUW Wisconsin works to further the policies and programs of the Association both nationally and within the state. Our Public Policy program aims to preserve a strong system of public education that promotes equity and diversity, promotes economic self-sufficiency for all women, and strives to guarantee equality, individual rights and social justice for a diverse society.

AAUW-WI consists of 35 local branches and one on-line branch with a total membership of 1900+. AAUW-WI seeks to make a difference in the lives of Wisconsin women and girls. We network with Wisconsin colleges and universities and work in partnership with diverse organizations to achieve our goals. Some of these partners include the Wisconsin Women's Network, Wisconsin Women = Prosperity, and the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign.
