AAUW Wisconsin District Coordinator
State Board Position Profile
District Coordinator (One for each of five districts)
Term:
Two years, 3 coinciding with the president's term, 2 overlapping presidents' terms
Status:
Appointed and attends board meetings
Requirements:
Leadership skills and experience
Strategic Plan Committee:
Leadership Development
Duties:
- Provides communication between branches and state board
- Builds a sense of community within her district
- Develops ownership, empowerment and leadership potential within her district
- Provides branch board and member training opportunities
- Advocates for branches at the state board
- Reports branch needs to the state board
- Reports state board activity to the branches
- Plans and carries out at least 1 district meetings per AAUW year
- Chairs her district meetings
- Acts as a resource to her district's branches
- Provides articles for Badger Briefs
- Submits an annual report of her work to the state President
- As requested by the President
